About Us

Standard Bilingual Higher Institute for Business Studies (SBHIBS) is a University Institution created with the aim of empowering young Cameroonians with the required knowledge, that will enable them solve company problems and thereby helping to curb the problem of unemployment.

The idea of this Modern institution was born by the Promoter, Mr. Christopher AWUNGJIA- a Chartered Accountant and an International Business Consultant who also doubles as the Managing Partner of ACN & Co Certified Public Accountants and Registered Auditors (ACN & Co CPARA).

Standard Bilingual Higher Institute for Business Studies (SBHIBS), also known as the Chartered University, intends to train young people to graduate as HND & Degree holders and in addition, prepare them for Chartered programs like Chartered Accountants, Chartered Bankers, Chartered Insurers, Chartered Marketers, Chartered Transport Administrators and Chartered Shipbrokers.

The Professional School offers HND and BSc studies with special emphasis on the aspect of practical training. This practical training is aimed at enhancing the theory acquired in school, and by so doing bridging the gap that usually exist between the theory learned in the classroom and the practice at the workplace.

 SBHIBS staff is made up of people who are experts and practitioners in their different fields of studies. They are drawn from various works of life and are ready to share their expert knowledge with the young people who will have the opportunity to study at SBHIBS.

SBHIBS will equip young Cameroonians with modern technology and skills that will enable them find good jobs in the market as well as give them the opportunity to set up sustainable businesses in their various fields of specialization.
